Payment notices on private individuals are registered when a debt collection case is forwarded to a bailiff/conciliation council for legal collection or if you fail to fulfill a payment agreement.
Banks and various product and service providers have access to this information by carrying out a credit check. A payment notice is deleted when the case has been paid and closed.
For companies, the general rule is that a payment notice is registered 30 days after the case has been transferred to the debt collection company and the request for payment has been sent out.
